Battalion Headquarters/Applied Instructional Facility
Lloyd Construction worked with the Corps of Engineers to build an 87,000 square foot military training facility at Fort Huachuca near the Arizona/Mexico border. The facility consists of a library, instructional classrooms, a high tech communications/computer center, dining facilities, and offices.
Composite Training Facility
Lloyd Construction completed this multi-structure Air Force training facility at Davis Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson. The facility consists of a 75,000 square foot, 4-bay aircraft maintenance hangar/control facility; a 45,000 square foot squadron operations facility; and a 10,000 square foot fire station. These facilities were constructed directly adjacent to flight line operations, with construction activities coordinated to avoid interference with ongoing base operations.
Consolidated Club
Lloyd Construction worked a design/build relationship to complete the new Consolidated Club at Yuma Marine Air Corps Station on the Arizona/California border. The 61,500 square foot club is a modern entertainment center serving with three separate entertainment areas. They are served by a single centralized production kitchen capable of serving 4,000 people.
Enlisted Club
Lloyd Construction worked with the Corps of Engineers to build a new 7,000 square foot dining/bar/dance facility for enlisted personnel at the Fort Huachuca army base near the Arizona/Mexico border.
Ground Launch Cruise Missile Facility
Lloyd Construction worked with the US Army Corps of Engineers to build a new 70,000 square foot cruise missile manufacturing and storage facility at Davis Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson.
Parachute Training Facility
Lloyd Construction completed this new military training facility at Pinal Air Park’s Western Army Aviation Training Site. The 59,500 square foot building houses medical and academic facilities, as well as and apartments for temporary housing of trainees. The project was completed on two phases and included three miles of roadway into the facility and full infrastructure development. In Phase 2, the firm acted as Construction Manager as well as General Contractor.
